生活型

形態特徵

  • Medium tree, deciduous; branchlets densely covered with stellate hairs.
  • Leaves entire, obovate-oblong, cuneate-rounded at base, acute, then acuminate and round-tipped, 2.5–10 cm by 0.8–4 cm; petiole slightly stellate-pubescent, more or less kneed at top ends, 0.7–3.2 cm.
  • Corymbs very densely stellate-pubescent,1.5–3 cm; pedicels stellate hairy, 8 mm; calyx funnel-shaped, densely stellate-pubescent without, 5.5 mm long; petals white, 10 mm by 3 mm; gynandrophore up to 16–17 mm long; stamen head 2.3 mm broad; ovary cells partly densely stellate-pubescent at ridge.
  • Fruit on long stalk (2 cm), woody, pale brown, soft-hairy, obovoid, 5-valved, 2.5–3.5 cm by 2 cm. Seeds flat, winged, ca.18 mm long (7.5 mm across; wing 12 mm by 9 mm).

分布

  • 台灣 : In low altitude forests. Endemic to the southern part of the island.
